Il progetto è parte di una proposta di più ampio respiro di Rigenerazione Urbana dei quartieri Romani Testaccio e Porta Portese, promosso dall’associazione culturale URBAN GROUND un ponte pedonale capace di unire le sponde di due quartieri divisi dalla presenza del fiume Tevere.
La parola Ponte definisce un elemento architettonico che unisce due sponde di un fiume di un lago oggi anche di mare. Lega due aree geografiche che altrimenti sarebbero isolate. Un’ idea che racchiude il concetto di transito di attraversamento, da una sponda all’altra.
Questo progetto vuole invertire questo concetto e immaginare invece un luogo per Stare, senza tuttavia dimenticare la sua natura di Collegare, due quartieri romani Testaccio e Porta Portese.
è un Parco Sospeso nell’aria tra acqua e cielo, uno spazio unicamente pedonale, un peccato attraversarlo e basta! È un luogo da cui godere i rumori dimenticati del Tevere, dove vedere passare ciclisti, runners, mamme,carrozzine, bambini scorrazzanti, gente seduta ai tavolini del bar, giocolieri in esercizio, lettori sdraiati sull’erba all’ombra degli ulivi, amanti e turisti in attesa del battello fluviale.
Un parco sospeso dove trascorrere del tempo in leggerezza, sospesi a mezz’aria, in attesa del tramonto sulla città godendo di una vista naturale unica. Un luogo di 2000mq di verde e realizzato perché no? Recuperando le strutture in metallo della Tangenziale Est. Un progetto promosso dalla associazione culturale URBAN GROUND
PARCO SOSPESO
The project is part of a proposal for Urban Regeneration in the Roman districts of Testaccio and Porta Portese, promoted by the cultural association URBAN GROUND, a pedestrian bridge capable of joining the shores of two districts, divided by the presence of the Tevere river.
The word Bridge defines an architectural element that unites two banks, of a river, of a lake also of the sea. Bind two geographical areas that would otherwise be isolated. An idea that encompasses the concept of crossing transit, from one bank to the other.
This project wants to invert this concept and instead imagine a place to stay, without however forgetting its connecting nature, two Roman districts of Testaccio and Porta Portese.
It is a Park Suspended in the air between water and sky, a only pedestrian space, a sin to cross it and that’s it! It is a place to enjoy the forgotten noises of the Tiber, where to see cyclists, runners, mothers, prams, children running around, people sitting at bar tables, jugglers in exercise, readers lying on the grass in the shade of olive trees, lovers and tourists waiting for the river boat.
A suspended park where you can spend time in lightness, suspended in mid-air, waiting for the sunset over the city enjoying a unique natural view. A place of 2000sqm of greenery and realized why not? Recovering the metal structures of the East Bypass.
